You can get some really phenomenal images from the new Sony A7III. Personally I use the Sony a7ii for my professional headshot photography. Our photo clients love the results I provide for them. It’s not always about the camera but about the person using it. Yes, you do need to have expertise and knowledge of lighting and how to use your camera. Knowing f-stops and shutter speeds is crucial when you’re a portrait photographer.
Linkedin Headshots
The majority of our photography work is for professional linkedin headshots for companies, employees and business owners. They send their employees to our photography studio so they can get nice headshot photos to put on their company websites. The Sony a7ii has made my photography a little easier. Using a long lens allows me to pull the subject in close so the background goes a little out of focus. If you are shopping for a new mirrorless camera you would do yourself a favor on getting one of the Sony A series models. The lenses are as plentiful but there are adapters that will allow you to use your Canon and Sigma lenses. There are 1000s of those lenses to be found and at good prices.
